Travel Tips from Tumi Luggage
CEO of Tumi luggage offers tips to make your journey easier
Jerome Griffith, CEO of Tumi luggage, made a video in which he gave his own tips on traveling. Watching the video, I've gotta say the guy looks the part. He's handsome and seems very well-to-do. Here's a breakdown of his tips for a trip that has no worry.
Jerome's first tip, is always pick the right bag for your destination. If you can avoid it, don't check in luggage as it adds a lot of hassle to your trip. To achieve this, make sure you know the regulations for your flight, and buy a nice suitcase (ideally, a Tumi suitcase) that will fit in the check-in luggage section.
Use stackable bags like the ones Tumi offers in which you can clip them together, in order to get more mileage from your luggage. Doing this, you can sneak more bags in as carry-on, and also move about without feeling overburdened with a hundred pieces of luggage. Most of the Tumi luggage works in tandem with other pieces so this isn't too hard.
He also recommends that you pack extra bags to easily extend trip. If you get stuck somewhere, you want to have the ability to get more stuff and pack it away. I'm not really sure of the effectiveness of this, or how you use the extra bags, but it's his tip none the less. Along similar lines of confusion for me is his recommendation to get cordless chargers for your electronics. I guess it prevents them from getting tangled, but still, it is over my head.
His last tip, which Tumi luggage makes easy as our demonstration page shows, is to modularize your luggage. If you divide your stuff into sections, it becomes a lot easier to find what you need quickly and easily. This can make traveling a lot less stressful.
Those are just a few tips to make your travel experience a more relaxed one.
